Aloha, my name is Kalani.

I was born and raised on Oʻahu. This island is not just where I work. It is where I was shaped. It is where my roots are.

KALO TOURS was created from that connection.

Kalo, the taro plant, is more than a crop in Hawaiʻi. It represents ancestry, family, and our deep relationship to the land. In Hawaiian tradition, Kalo is tied to the origin of the Hawaiian people. It reminds us that we are connected to this ʻāina, and responsible for how we care for it.

Just like the roots of the Kalo plant run deep into the earth, this company is rooted in the land here. 

And just like me, it is tied to Oʻahu.  

KALO TOURS was not built simply to offer sightseeing. It was built to share Hawaiʻi with respect, understanding, and intention. To guide visitors through places that hold history. To speak about the land with humility. To create space for connection instead of rushing from stop to stop.
